This will be a special year at the Philippine Fiesta in New Jersey, August 18th and 19th. I am excited to announce that Beau Canlas from MYX will be joining Aryty at the event to meet with guests and even take time for photo opportunities!
I met Beau while visiting Manila last spring. This Virginia naitive is a rising star on the MYX network in the Philippines and already is hosting 2 shows on MYX stateside! Beau’s positive energy and charisma cannot be ignored but most of all this Fil-Am’s pride in his heritage truly shines through!

You can expect to see top competition in the Fiesta Idol Championship, Filipina beauties in the Miss Philippine Fiesta competition, interesting exhibits and of course outstanding performances from the headliners! One of my favorite activities at Philipinne Fiestas are the vocal competitions. Filipinos have so much signing talent it’s amazing. I can’t even sing well in the shower!

We had a great weekend at the US-Philippine Expo in LA last weekend! Making chikka, eating Filipino food and spreading the word about Aryty kept us busy. Now that we’re back in New York we’ve had a chance to post our photos from the Expo. Make sure to check them out at www.aryty.com/photos.
The U.S. Philippines Expo will be help this weekend on August 4th and 5th at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds in Pomona.
The Expo was established in 1993 by Ruben Panopio as a way to unite Filipinos and celebrate culture of the Philippines. This years event will include a singing competition, Ms. US-Philippine Expo competition and performances from Pops Fernandez and Tuesday Vargas! Of course there will also be plenty of cultural exhibits and amazing food from the Philippines to enjoy.
