As some of us at Aryty were working today we couldn’t help notice it wasn’t the same without all of our team back from vacation yet. So we’ve decided to start a countdown to make the time go faster.
In between checking out the sights of Kathmandu I had the chance to meet up for lunch with Bal Joshi the founder of Thamel.com. Thamel allows Nepalese abroad to buy gifts and services for their relatives living in Nepal.
It was a great exchanging ideas with Bal as both of our companies are focused on serving friends and family separated from their loved ones back home. Thamel does an amazing job providing services from birthday cake delivery to offering mortgages to buy a home in Nepal. They even take a picture of gifts being delivered to family members for their relatives to enjoy overseas. Thamel’s most unusual product is live goats which they deliver. That’s when I realized how easy the load business really is!
Every year I try and get far away for Labor Day weekend to take a break and relax. This year I choose to check out Kathmandu in Nepal. Hope you are enjoying your holiday is much as I am. Happy Labor Day!
