Oprah Winfrey was the speaker at this morning’s Stanford Commencement Ceremony for the class of ’08. She had 3 good pieces of advice to share with the class and visitors and they are definitely worth passing along!

Oprah shared lots of great stories around her points including one the one about her 1st news job where they wanted her to change her name to Susy. We all know how that one turned out. Her commencement speech was inspirational and judging by the crowds reaction her message really connected.
Last weekend Jake Cuenca made a personal appearance in the Aryty booth for autographs and a photo opp with adoring fans at Fiesta Filipina. The weather in San Francisco was amazing that day and fans started gathering more than 1 hour prior to his arrival to get their place in line to meet Jake. Last weekend all of us from Aryty had a great time attending the Fiesta Filipina 2008 in San Francisco. Perfect weather, good food and seeing Charice perform was amazing! The Aryty Karaoke Smart car with guest host Jaja from TFC’S new show Adobo Nation was also a hit.
Sunday, Aryty hosted a special guest appearance in the Aryty booth with Jake Cuenca who stopped by for a meet and greet with our guests in addition to plenty of promos, gift bags and Globe, Smart and Sun Cellular load for all. The weekend went by so fast it’s hard to believe it’s over.

Her performance was absolutely amazing and the coolest part was being able to meet her afterwards! Charice Pempengco brought the house down at Fiesta Filipina in San Francisco, June 8th signing favorites like I will always love you. This junior diva and global superstar wowed everyone by performing more than 3 songs Sunday at the Fiesta Filipina and followed her performance with a meet and greet at TFC.
Charice is not only blessed with an incomparable voice but also has the stage presence and charisma to impress even the toughest crowds. She is truly an amazing talent and we were thrilled to have the chance to see her perform live in San Francisco at the Fiesta Filipina 2008.
We did manage to catch some of her songs on tape and will make sure to post them so you can see video of Charice Pempengco sing.

This prince of action, most recently followed on Palos will be taking part in the Fiesta Filipina and we are fortunate to have him join us Sunday. Jake is on a fast track to be a leading man of the silver screen in the Philippines and is already one of the country’s most bankable actors fresh off the cover of Men’s Health Magazine.
